My French Journal

In June 2025, my family packed up our lives in the United States and moved to France in search of a different kind of life. We traded familiarity for adventure, learned to navigate a new language and culture, enrolled three daughters in the French public school system, and embraced the everyday beauty of living in the French Alps on Lake Annecy.

For some time now I have wanted to share our story—what it takes to move to France as an American, the challenges we didn't expect, the lessons we've learned, and the moments that made it all worthwhile. I'll also be sharing photography adventures, hidden corners of Europe, hotels, travel guides, motorsport weekends, and life behind the camera...and all the tears and meltdowns within the beauty.
